The Tulip 'American Dream' bulbs produce a plant with a long, thin stem, each topped with a single, large flower. Each large flower starts off as a light cream with a small red edge, maturing into a brighter yellow with larger red outer edges.

The American dream flower will grow well in most conditions, but prefers a moist, well drained soil in an area with plenty of sun for best results

This flower is a Division 4 Darwin Hybrid tulip, characterised by large, goblet-like flowers, with long stems, and bulbs that grow back each year.
