Description
The Tulip 'Alba Regalis' is a historical tulip, dating back to 1620 AD, but mostly popularised in the 1920's. Each bulb produces a 25cm tall stem, with a single flower on top. The flowers are a milky white edged with a very pale, pastel yellow. This flower will grow well in a wide variety of conditions, but will prefer moist, well drained soil in a sunny area for the best growth.
Alba Regalis is often classed as a Division 13 Lily-flowered tulip, with long, thin, pointed petals, but can also be classed as a single early tulip.
