Floating Watermoss (Salvinia natans)
This plant is made up of small hairy green leaves floating on the surface. Salvinia are not hardy and can be burnt by cold winds. It makes a very attractive plant in shallow bowls with a little soil and kept in a warm, light position.
Not hardy. Remove decaying plants after first frost. Very hard to overwinter.
Float on the surface of water in full sun to partial shade.
