The Narcissus 'Cheerfulness' daffodil bulb produces a plant with a strong, dark stem. On top of each plant is a white and yellow flower. This flower is quite unique as the middle, pale yellow corona is fully ruffled, while the outer milky white petals lay flat. When the plant blossoms in the spring it gives off an appealing floral scent.
This flower will grow in all soil types, but prefers a moist, well drained soil and a spot in a sunny area for the best growth.
Narcissus 'Cheerfulness' is a Division 4 daffodil, these are normally characterised by some of the petals, in the case of the Cheerfulness daffodil it is the inner petals that have been doubled, causing the tightly ruffled look.
