Canna 'Liberte' Rhizomes

Canna 'Liberte', also known as 'Wyoming', is a bold tropical-style perennial grown for its dramatic foliage and vivid orange flowers.

Large bronze-purple leaves form a strong architectural backdrop for the striking gladiolus-like blooms that appear from midsummer through early autumn.

  • Height: up to 200cm
  • Spread: 60–90cm
  • Flower colour: vivid orange
  • Flowering time: midsummer to early autumn
  • Position: full sun
  • Soil: fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil

About Canna 'Liberte'

Canna 'Liberte' forms large clumps of tall stems topped with broad leaves coloured deep bronze-purple with darker veins.

The bold foliage alone creates strong structure in garden planting.

From midsummer, tall flower spikes emerge carrying large frilled blooms. The flowers are vivid orange with lighter orange feathering and deeper orange edges.

The combination of large foliage and bright flowers makes this variety suitable for tropical-style planting schemes.
