A descendant of fruiting forms, Humulus lupulus 'Aureus' showcases stunning, luminescent yellow-green foliage. With a self-clinging and exceptionally vigorous nature, this plant can achieve up to 6m of growth in a single season when pruned to 15cm in spring. In September, under optimal conditions, this plant will produce cone-shaped flowers (hops). While it may be susceptible to mildew, this plant is a stunning addition to any garden.

To ensure optimal growth, experts recommend planting this variety in a well-lit area with good drainage and protection from strong winds. Providing a sturdy support structure, like a trellis or wall, can enhance the plant's growth by utilizing its natural climbing tendencies.
