Hippeastrum 'Barbados' bulbs generate magnificent plants with tall flower stems, each adorned with several impressive blooms. The vibrant hue is a deep red, with a white stripe in the centre of each flower. With multiple blooms per stem, these flowers are perfect for cut arrangements.

Hippeastrum 'Barbados' bulb should be planted in a moist, well-draining soil with plenty of sunlight and some protection from strong winds. Ideal for potting, it will produce long-lasting, vibrant color with each bloom on the stem emerging at different times - commonly referred to as Amaryllis. Plant the bulb half in and half out of the soil.
