These Galanthus elwesii var monostictus 'H. Purcell' Snow bulbs produce a flower with large white petals with green markings on the inner segments. This snowdrop variant is a very vigorous plant that spreads quickly and clumps together.

The alanthus elwesii var monostictus is best grown in shaded or semi-shaded conditions, and will grow well in most soils.

When clumps get too thick, they can be lifted and divided. For best results do this when the plant finished flowering and the foliage has died down.
