Fuchsia 'Lady Boothby', is a vigorous plant that can grow up to 2-3m in height. Its upright growth may require tying and pinching back to maintain its appearance, although it can also be trained to climb on a trellis or arch. Throughout the summer to autumn season, this shrub produces relatively small yet striking crimson and dark purple single flowers.

Fuchsia 'Lady Boothby' is a hardy and long-lasting plant that can endure colder temperatures. However, it flourishes best in well-drained, fertile soil that is exposed to full sun or partial shade. To protect it from winds during winter, it is advisable to add a layer of mulch. Its climbing growth can be supported by a structure such as a wall or trellis.
