Description

The Fritillaria imperialis 'Slagzwaard' is a majestic fritillary with brown-red nodding flowers that sit beneath a stunning crown of deep green foliage. The Slagzwaard is a stunning plant that blooms throughout spring and prefers to be planted later in the year between September and November. This plant gets quite tall, reaching an impressive 90cm when fully grown.

The Fritillaria imperialis 'Slagzwaard' is quite easy to grow and does well in borders and raised beds. The bulbs should be planted in full sun to partial shade around 20cm deep.
