Eremurus 'Rumba' bulbs create a vibrant display of yellow flower heads. The star-shaped blooms are composed of multiple buds, gradually lightening from deep yellow to bright gold from the base up. This results in a gradient effect and also helps to explain the plant's nickname, 'Foxtail', as the uppermost section of the stem is usually the densest.
Eremurus 'Rumba' bulbs should be planted in a location with well-drained soil and ample sunlight, away from areas where high winds may be present. To ensure stability, staking may be necessary when planted in more exposed areas. Planting should occur between September and December, with the flowers blooming between June and July.
