Corydalis cava bulbs can be unique, in that they may occasionally be hollow. The blooms of this plant are tubular with flared petals at the end, resembling a trumpet. The flowers can appear in multiple hues of soft pinks / purples.

Corydalis cava is suited for naturalizing, demonstrating hardiness in many settings. The plant requires moist soil and adequate drainage for optimal growth, and it does best when exposed to full sunlight. Woodland environments provide ideal semi-shaded conditions.
