This stunning deciduous climber has a compact form and features mid to dark-green leaves. It showcases beautiful light mauvy-blue flowers with rosy-mauve accents on the bars and a striking centre of vibrant yellow stamens, each with a diameter of 10-13cm (4-5in). Perfect for smaller gardens or containers, this climber blooms abundantly from summer to autumn.

Clematis plants can be either deciduous or evergreen shrubs, herbaceous perennials, or climbers that use twining leaf stalks. Many varieties also produce striking flowers, while some feature fluffy seedheads in autumn.

To ensure the happiness of this plant, it is best to plant it in a location where its roots will remain cool and moist, ideally with some shade provided by lower-growing species. This plant prefers full sun and a well-drained soil.
