Clematis viticella 'Night Veil' is a deciduous climber, reaching a height of approximately 2.5m and features divided green leaves. Its reddish purple flowers can grow up to 9cm in diameter and have crimped edges and a redder bar across the centre of the petals. These flowers bloom in mid to late summer.
Clematis plants can be either deciduous or evergreen shrubs, herbaceous perennials, or climbers that use twining leaf stalks. Many varieties also produce striking flowers, while some feature fluffy seedheads in autumn.
