Introduced in 2019 by Raymond Evison, the clematis 'Vicki' is compact in habit but produces an astonishing amount of light pink with darker pink barred flowers from May- September. This is an exceptionally pretty clematis that will produce long-lasting flowers over several months from early summer. A compact climber, it is ideal for pots, but it also looks great when used to fill gaps in a border and scramble up an obelisk. Perfect for containers.
Clematis plants can be either deciduous or evergreen shrubs, herbaceous perennials, or climbers that use twining leaf stalks. Many varieties also produce striking flowers, while some feature fluffy seedheads in autumn.
To ensure the happiness of this plant, it is best to plant it in a location where its roots will remain cool and moist, ideally with some shade provided by lower-growing species. This plant prefers full sun and a well-drained soil.
Height: This plant is usually between 75-90cm tall when it arrives but can reach 1.5m. 3L deep rose pots with 90cm cane. Prune code 2, light prune.
Flowers: May - September.
