'Olympia' (Evipo099) is a versatile and visually striking Clematis option for gardens that may require some shade. The blooms transition from a deep blue/purple with a faint rose bar to a lighter blue hue as they mature, creating a lovely contrast. With a height rarely exceeding 1.5m, this compact Clematis features single or semi-double petals that elegantly overlap, surrounding a cluster of creamy-yellow anthers. From late spring to early autumn, this easy-to-grow variety produces abundant flowering buds from both leaf axils and stem ends.

Clematis plants can be either deciduous or evergreen shrubs, herbaceous perennials, or climbers that use twining leaf stalks. Many varieties also produce striking flowers, while some feature fluffy seedheads in autumn.

To ensure the happiness of this plant, it is best to plant it in a location where its roots will remain cool and moist, ideally with some shade provided by lower-growing species. This plant prefers full sun and a well-drained soil.
