This stunning cultivar boasts impressive, 15 cm wide lavender flowers surrounded by a prominent ruff of stamens and complemented by mid-green foliage. As a compact and abundant climber, RE Clematis 'Crystal Fountain' (Evipo038) is an ideal choice for smaller gardens, reaching a maximum height and width of 1.8m. It can also thrive in a large container, trained up an obelisk or against a sunlit wall.

Clematis plants can be either deciduous or evergreen shrubs, herbaceous perennials, or climbers that use twining leaf stalks. Many varieties also produce striking flowers, while some feature fluffy seedheads in autumn.

To ensure the happiness of this plant, it is best to plant it in a location where its roots will remain cool and moist, ideally with some shade provided by lower-growing species. This plant prefers full sun and a well-drained soil.
