Enhance your garden with the extraordinary, recurring blooms of 'Alaina', a compact clematis that produces flowers in both the beginning and end of the season. This deciduous climber reaches head height and boasts full, dark green leaves alongside sizable blossoms that can measure up to 17cm (7in) in diameter, displaying stunning hues of deep pink. Following a brief pause in the summer, the blooms resurface once more from late summer until early autumn, adding beauty to your containers, trellises, and garden beds.

Clematis plants can be either deciduous or evergreen shrubs, herbaceous perennials, or climbers that use twining leaf stalks. Many varieties also produce striking flowers, while some feature fluffy seedheads in autumn.

To ensure the happiness of this plant, it is best to plant it in a location where its roots will remain cool and moist, ideally with some shade provided by lower-growing species. This plant prefers full sun and a well-drained soil.
