This variety of Clematis, also known as 'Nubia' (Evipo079), boasts a gorgeous, rich red flower with deep velvet-like texture. The dark red, almost black tipped anthers add a striking contrast. The star-shaped flowers are generously sized and bloom abundantly from May onwards, making it an ideal choice for container gardening.

Clematis plants can be either deciduous or evergreen shrubs, herbaceous perennials, or climbers that use twining leaf stalks. Many varieties also produce striking flowers, while some feature fluffy seedheads in autumn.

To ensure the happiness of this plant, it is best to plant it in a location where its roots will remain cool and moist, ideally with some shade provided by lower-growing species. This plant prefers full sun and a well-drained soil.
