This plant is a lovely deciduous climber with a delightful scent and pretty deep pink flowers that bloom in April. It is well-suited to any direction and makes a charming addition to flower beds and borders. For a gorgeous burst of colour in the beginning of the season, consider training it to climb up a pergola or archway.

Clematis plants can be either deciduous or evergreen shrubs, herbaceous perennials, or climbers that use twining leaf stalks. Many varieties also produce striking flowers, while some feature fluffy seedheads in autumn.

To ensure the happiness of this plant, it is best to plant it in a location where its roots will remain cool and moist, ideally with some shade provided by lower-growing species. This plant prefers full sun and well-drained soil.
