A great variety of clematis with dark blue flowers produced very freely. Clematis integrifolia 'Ashton' grows to around 2m, with non-clinging stems, so perfect scrambling through shrubs or easily against a wall with a few twist ties. Robust, quick to establish, and long-flowering.

Clematis plants can be either deciduous or evergreen shrubs, herbaceous perennials, or climbers that use twining leaf-stalks. Many varieties also produce striking flowers, while some feature fluffy seedheads in autumn.

To ensure the happiness of this plant, it is best to plant it in a location where its roots will remain cool and moist, ideally with some shade provided by lower-growing species. This plant prefers full sun and well-drained soil.

Height: This plant is usually between 75-90cm tall when it arrives but can reach 10ft. 3L deep rose pots with 90cm cane.
