Discovered in the walled garden of Burford House, Tenbury Wells in Worcestershire, Wisteria floribunda 'Burford' is a newer variety that features long compact racemes (flowers) measuring 40cm in length. These blooms are a beautiful blue-mauve colour with white accents and a yellow eye, emitting a subtle and pleasant scent. This stunning plant produces flowers from mid-May through June and its foliage transitions from a bronze flush to a deep green as it matures. It has been recognized and awarded the AGM by the RHS.
