Description
The Tulip acuminata bulbs produce a stunning, unique flower. An older variety dating back the 18th century. Each long, thin stem grows up to 50cm, and is topped by a fiery red, orange and yellow flower. The petals are long and thin, pointed upwards, resembling a flame.
This flower will grow well in most conditions, but prefers a moist, well drained soil in a sunny area for maximum growth.
The acuminata tulip is a Group 13 tulip, these tulips are generally smaller than most modern hybrids, but are quite hardy and long lasting.
