Trachelospermum jasminoides, commonly referred to as Star Jasmine, boasts glossy green oval-shaped foliage that remains vibrant throughout the year. The highly scented, white, clustered flowers bloom in abundance during the months of July and August. It is best to plant this species in a sunny location near a seating area to fully experience its lovely fragrance. Even in the cold winter months, the leaves will transition to a striking, fiery red hue, but will not fall off. With the arrival of spring, the foliage reverts back to its glossy green state. This evergreen plant is a favourite among pollinators.
