A very quick-growing native, it is popular with landscapers for native planting schemes to provide cover for wildfowl.

Little maintenance is required. Trim just above the water surface after foliage has died back in Autumn to tidy.

Plant in full sun to partial shade between 0cm and 30cm deep.
