This diet is designed to manually raise chicks of species belonging to the finches family (goldfinches, greenfinches, linnets, finches...).

It simplifies the manual rearing process and ensures excellent chick growth.

Serinus porridges are complete foods. The birds obtain all the necessary nutrients to be able to develop with optimal health, excellent vigor, and excellent plumage quality.

To prepare the porridge, mix the product with warm water at a concentration of 20-25% (texture similar to a beaten yogurt). It is important to discard the excess porridge after each feeding, it should not be reused in the following meals.

The adequate amount of porridge to supply each chick depends on the capacity of its crop and its demand behavior. Feed small amounts of porridge repeatedly until the pigeons are satiated and stop asking.

During the first days of life, we recommend feeding the Passerine Crop Milk.

Store in a cool, dry place (it is possible to freeze the hermetically packed product, but it is not recommended to keep it in the fridge once opened).

Pond Plants

Currently dispatching on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.

1. In the main season, orders placed by 11am on a working day are sent the next working day, excluding Friday (or the Thursday before Easter).
2. During low season we will amend the days orders are shipped. The dispatch days are normally:
• March - Twice weekly Tuesday and Thursday
• April to Mid-August - 4 days per week Monday to Thursday
• Mid-August and September - Twice weekly Tuesday and Thursday
• October to February - Once per week on Tuesday
3. Due to the volume of orders being handled, we are unlikely to be able to amend or cancel an order if it has already been picked and packaged. Once in this status, the order will be shipped and invoiced accordingly.
4. Our couriers will leave orders in a cool shaded area if there is no one at the address provided, or with a neighbour if possible.

Other Products

We aim to dispatch orders within 3 working days (Monday to Friday).

Some specialist products such as our larger insect houses, furniture and niche bird boxes are made to order and may have a lead time of 2-6 weeks.
