
Clubrush (Scirpus lacustris)
A dark green rush with clusters of chocolate brown flowers near top of stems. Popular with landscapers for native planting schemes to provide cover for wildfowl.
Little maintenance is required. Trim just above the water surface after foliage has died back in Autumn to tidy.
Plant in full sun to partial shade between 1cm and 40cm deep.
