Planting Tips

  • Plant 30–60cm away from walls or fences for better root moisture
  • Keep roots cool with mulch or low-growing plants
  • Provide support such as an arch, pergola, or trellis
  • Cut stems back hard in early spring to strong buds
  • Feed in spring with a balanced slow-release fertiliser

Grow it in a container near seating areas for close-up flower detail. The veining becomes more noticeable at short range.
