The Narcissus 'Carlton' daffodil bulb produces large, yellow flowers with frilled, sulphur yellow inner crowns. The Carlton daffodil is very hardy and used for cut flowers due to its long lasting nature. The ''Carlton'' daffodil will grow well in most soils due to being very hardy, but will appreciate a well drained, moist soil and a spot in the sun for maximum growth.
Narcissus 'Carlton' is a Division 2 daffodil, these are often characterised by 1 flower to each stem, and an inner cup that is around half the length of the outer petals.
