Narcissus 'Actaea' is a beautifully coloured and scented daffodil which features a broad white perianth containing a yellow centre and a deep red margin. As a member of the division 9 poeticus daffodils, the Narcissus Actaea features one flower to each stem and pure white petals.
These daffodil bulbs are best planted from September to November and can be expected to flower in April or May. They typically grow to a maximum of 40cm in height. Having been awarded the award for garden merit by the RHS this daffodil is very hardy and will grow in most soil but it prefers well-drained areas in full or partial sun.
