This variety, also known as 'American Beauty', produces clusters of trumpet-shaped, highly fragrant flowers from June to September. The buds start off as deep red, then fade to pink as they open and become white inside. Once fertilized, they turn yellow and form clusters of bright red, glossy berries. The foliage is semi-evergreen and supported by rich red stems, making this plant a great choice for wildlife or cottage gardens, especially after warm summers.

This species flourishes in both partially and fully sunny environments and thrives in moist, well-drained soil for optimal growth. It is recommended to supply a sturdy structure to assist its climbing tendencies.
