Polygonatum multiflorum, commonly known as Common Solomon's Seal, is a graceful woodland perennial grown for its elegant arching stems and delicate bell-shaped flowers.

The plant forms attractive clumps of gently arching stems lined with soft green leaves, creating a natural woodland look in shaded gardens.

In late spring, small clusters of pendant tubular flowers appear in the leaf axils along the lower part of the stem.

Each cluster usually contains two to six white flowers with green tips.

After flowering, the plant produces small round black berries.
