Ixia Venus, otherwise known as "African Corn Lily," features petals of deep red wine coloration, with a small dark epicentre when the flower is fully open. Its thin stems give the appearance of the blossoms floating in the air. Ixia Venus blooms are ideal for cut flower arrangements.

We recommend planting Ixia Venus bulbs into fairly fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny spot in the garden. This flower should be planted between April and December and the flowers will come up between July and August.
