This dwarf iris, Iris histrioides 'Katharine Hodgkin', grows up to 13cm tall and features striking pale blue flowers during late winter. The falls of the flowers are richly veined in a deeper blue colour and are accented with a yellow base. After blooming, the leaves of the iris elongate to create a slender appearance.
Iris histrioides 'Katharine Hodgkin' flourishes in most types of soil in direct sunlight. Minimal maintenance is needed for this plant.
