Hippeastrum 'Antarctica', more commonly known as Amaryllis bulbs, generate an eye-catching plant. Tall, slender stems carry multiple petals of milky-white, contrasted by a light green marking in the middle and white anthers.

Bulbs of Hippeastrum 'Antarctica' should be planted from October to January and will typically display blooms 8 to 10 weeks following planting.

Plant Hippeastrum 'Antarctica' bulbs halfway below the surface of a well-draining soil in a spot with plenty of sunlight. Initially water lightly until foliage starts to develop, then consistently water to ensure healthy growth. Keep the upper half of the bulb exposed.
