Hedychium flavescens bulbs, commonly referred to as Yellow Ginger Lily, yield tall, lush plants. The green leaves and strong stems give way to clusters of lemon yellow, butterfly-shaped blooms that emit a pleasant fragrance.

Hedychium flavescens thrives in damp, nutrient-rich soil and can grow well in full or partial sunlight. For optimal development, it is best to position the plant in a sheltered spot to protect it from strong winds and encourage sturdy stems. Its tendency to spread makes it an excellent choice for naturalizing an area.
