This hedgehog box camera kit bundle features a wired HD IP camera, allowing you to get up close and personal with visiting hedgehogs in your own garden. This kit includes everything you need to get started: a HD IP nest box camera kit, a 30-metre network cable for the camera and our quality hedgehog box of your choice. The camera kit is designed so that you can check in on your phone or tablet and you can also watch and record on your computer.
Our hedgehog box features an eco-roof made of recycled composite materials with the added benefit of being completely waterproof and rot-proof. It's built with a sloping roof for water drainage along with additional grooves on the top of the side panels. The lid is hinged and lockable. Ventilation is provided by a clog-proof, narrow gap under the roof along the front.

What should I put inside a hedgehog house to attract hedgehogs?
Add dry leaves, straw, or hay to create a cosy nesting space. Avoid food inside the house - use a separate feeding station nearby instead and use approved hedgehog food.
Where should I avoid placing the camera?
Avoid areas that could be disturbed by pets or excessive noise. Make sure the camera is sturdy enough to remain upright if any jostling occurs.
Does camera flash hurt hedgehogs?
No, night vision cameras use invisible infrared light that doesn’t disturb wildlife. These adorable creatures’ actions can be captured without them being affected in any way.
Can I use a hedgehog house camera in hedgehog feeding stations too?
Our hedgehog house cameras fit perfectly in hedgehog feeding stations. Just make sure there’s good ventilation, proper water drainage, and enough space for hedgehogs to move around comfortably. Some of our houses feature a lid hinged for easy access when setting up your camera.
How can I stop birds and squirrels from disturbing hedgehogs’ habitats?
Place the hedgehog house or feeding station in a quiet, sheltered spot with good cover. Avoid leaving exposed food, and use feeding stations with narrow entrances to prevent your garden’s wildlife from visiting hedgehogs!
