Gladiolus papilio 'Ruby' bulbs produce beautiful flowers. Tall grey-green foliage with lance shaped leaves creates beautiful flower spikes. The blooms from these spikes are a beautiful jewel ruby red flowers, with a deeper red blushed throughout These flowers face downwards, slightly nodding.

To ensure the best growth, Gladiolus papilio 'Ruby' needs a well-draining soil that is moist and rich in full sunlight or partial shade. Keep in mind that it is not very frost-tolerant, so it may require mulching during the winter season.
