Gladiolus carneus bulbs produce a picturesque display. Its tall stems hold substantial foliage and multiple flowers that ascend the stalk. Petals typically have a faint pink shade with deeper hued markings in the core.

Gladiolus carneus will benefit from damp, oxygenated soils and plenty of sun. It can be planted in more sheltered areas to guard its tall stalks against wind gusts. Additionally, this species is a great pick for naturalizing and as a cut flower.
