Description

The Fritillaria elwesii is a stunning autumn bulb with beautiful purple and green nodding flowers. These plants get to a maximum of 45cm, making them perfect for borders. The fritillary is an autumn bulb and does best when planted late in the year from September to December. The plant will then bloom from mid-spring time.

The Fritillaria elwesii does excellent in the front of flower beds or in pots and is one of the easy to grow. The bulbs should be planted in full sun to partial shade around 20cm deep.
