Eremurus 'Samba' bulbs (known as foxtail lily) create an awe-inspiring plant with tall, sturdy stems adorned with rose-pink petals. The blooms come in numerous clusters and climb the stem to culminate in a wide array of flowers at the apex, which is the source of the name 'foxtail'.
Eremurus bulbs have an expansive, large, starfish-shaped root system, so are best grown in a loosely packed, well-draining soil, allowing the roots to spread out evenly. You should not plant these too close together. Plant in a sheltered area to avoid high winds for optimal growth; otherwise, the blooms may require stakes for stability.
