It is recommended to grow Dahlia 'Maxime' in well-draining, consistently moist soil with plenty of sunlight for optimal growth. Starting the plants indoors, in a warm and well-lit environment, such as a greenhouse, with potting soil before moving them outdoors later in the year can also be beneficial.
