Plant Dahlia 'Cabana Banana' in a pot early in the year to give it time to develop, then move it outside after the last frosts. Alternatively, plant the bulb directly into the ground after the last frost. This variety thrives in moist, well-drained soil and needs full sunlight. For best results, choose a sheltered area to protect the stems from strong winds.
