Cypripedium calceolus bulbs produce a stunning plant. Calceolus (also known as a slipper orchid) is our native cypripedium, and is now available for to buy as bulbs. The plant itself is mostly different hues of green. The main petals on the flower are a deep maroon red, with the pouch itself being a lighter, lime green.

Cypripedium calceolus grows best in a moist soil with good drainage. They prefer to grow In shaded or areas in dappled sunlight.
