Cyclamen purpurascens bulbs create a captivating plant. Its leaves are typically rounded with soft edges. The plant's bloom hangs off the stem and sharply curves upwards, giving it the classic cyclamen silhouette. The purpurascens flowers are remarkable, a dark lively pink-purple, and heavily scented.

Cyclamen purpurascens prefers cooler, moister, and well-draining soil. This plant thrives most in lightly shaded areas that offer dappled sunlight. It should be noted that they are sensitive to frost, so planting should occur early in the winter season. As a result, this flower makes a good choice for container gardening.
