Crocus speciosus 'Oxonian' bulbs generate a visually striking plant, boasting a maximum height of 15cm. Each bloom showcases a deep violet blue hue, featuring prominent dark veins. The yellow stamens appear branched and contrast with the lightness of the petals.

Crocus speciosus are most effectively planted from September to December and will bloom in the subsequent year in appropriate conditions. It should be situated in a damp but well-drained soil in direct sunlight and is excellent for naturalizing areas.
