Crocus goulimyi boasts a unique and eye-catching shape, characterized by a slim 'stalk' at the base of the flower that dramatically widens into a goblet shape at the top. When exposed to sunlight, the flower opens up, but when closed, it takes on a spherical appearance. The colour of this crocus is a pale to deep lavender.
The Crocus goulimyi has been awarded the Award of Garden Merit (AGM) by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).
This flower grows in various conditions, but performs best in moist, well-draining soil and sunny spots. It also looks superb in grassy areas. It is an excellent choice for bringing pollinators and other wildlife into the garden.
