As a clematis that stands at a height of 2-2.5m, Silver Moon offers versatility with its striking, silky silvery-mauve flowers that bloom in May-June and August-September. Its pruning code is 2, and a light prune is recommended for optimal growth. This variety has been honoured with the prestigious Award of Garden Merit.

Clematis plants can be either deciduous or evergreen shrubs, herbaceous perennials, or climbers that use twining leaf stalks. Many varieties also produce striking flowers, while some feature fluffy seedheads in autumn.

To ensure the happiness of this plant, it is best to plant it in a location where its roots will remain cool and moist, ideally with some shade provided by lower-growing species. This plant prefers full sun and a well-drained soil.
