Chionodoxa forbesii Blue Giant is a larger-than-usual spring bloomer, characterised by its white eyes and blue blossoms. It is easy to cultivate and can be placed in a rock garden, alpine bed, or border to add a bright splash of early colour. This variety can be left in the ground, where it will eventually form a broad swath. Also known as 'Glory of the Snow'. Please be aware that this flower can be harmful if eaten.
We recommend planting Chionodoxa forbesii Blue Giant bulbs 5cm deep into well-drained soil in a sunny spot in the garden. This flower should be planted between September and October and the flowers will come up in April.
