Chionodoxa forbesii (syn.luciliae) is an early-spring bulb that quickly establishes itself, providing a bright and colourful backdrop. Each stem features five or more star-shaped blue flowers with white centres. Ideal for naturalisation. Chionodoxa forbesii has been granted the Award for Garden Merit by the RHS.

We recommend planting Chionodoxa forbesii bulbs 6cm deep into well-drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded spot in the garden. This flower should be planted between September and November and the flowers will come up in March.

Planting Time: September - November

Flowering Time: March

Max Height: 15cm
